Peter Springett has over 35 years director and senior management experience with leading edge technology and customer service based solutions companies. Peter has pioneered the introduction and commercialisation of many new technologies into ‘real world’ business solutions in the UK and USA and since 1981, Australasia and New Zealand.
In 1991, Peter identified the impending convergence of IT and communications, and began to specialise in the provision of complex IVR (Interactive Voice Response) based business solutions and services.
In parallel, Peter was one of the pioneers of ‘Premium Rate’ 0055 and later 1900 telephone services into Australia. This opened up a number of specialist opportunities to provide information, booking & payment services, where the caller was charged on a ‘cost per minute’ basis, which was charged to their phone bill.
In 1998, Peter was one of the pioneers of speech recognition-based solutions into Australia and New Zealand. Since that time Peter has been responsible for the consultancy, sales and management of many major projects including several World and Australia / New Zealand speech recognition solution ‘firsts.’
Peter also has significant experience in the design, development, implementation and project management of complex automated and ‘live agent’ based customer service and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) solutions.
